CDA (Compact Disc Audio) Format

CD Audio is specified as linear PCM, 44.1KHz sampling rate and 16-bit, stereo resolution. The data is allocated within frames, which allow 24 bytes of data per frame. The frames are interleaved with other non-sequential frames of data. Included in with the digital audio data is additional data on error correction, synchronization, and display.
